Our Film has been accepted to screen as part of the Godard Project on December 3rd, 2010 at the RPL Film Theatre in Regina, Saskatchewan Canada in celebration of Mr. Godard’s 80th Birthday Celebration!
LOGLINE:
A young man in a dead-end job takes in an unlikely roommate but soon realizes there is more to their relationship than expected as a failed robbery attempt, an unsuccessful romance and past indiscretions threaten to bring their world crashing down around them.
FILM SYNOPSIS:
The Way We Say Goodbye is a story about the allusion of friendship between two Bay Area thirty year olds stuck in the malaise of dead-end jobs and unrealized aspirations. Eddie is an aspiring photographer who lacks the ambition to take more than odd jobs to make ends meet. Jerod takes whatever work he can but cannot seem to get ahead. Emotions spin out of control when a robbery attempt spurs Jerod to address Eddie’s unspoken feelings and make a difficult choice that will change their friendship forever.
